Our guide was Alex Parrish and he did a great job of enhancing the experience of visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island by sharing the history and events of that era.

Although I had been to New Yorks many times, I had never been to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. It was a moving experience. The guide we had was knowledgeable and informative. We did have time to visit the museums on Liberty Island and Ellis Island, although you were left to visit them on your own. Perhaps, if you want to have more information on what you see in the museums, you would want to book a different tour. A word of warning - there is a long line to get through security before boarding the boat, so it may be difficult for some to stand that long.

Chris Tipp was a wonderful tour guide of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The day was rainy but Chris made the day so enjoyable and special. He’s an engaging storyteller and informative guide. He was well organized, able to efficiently usher us through the lines and offered relevant and significant stories at opportune times. Excellent tour, Chris!
