The meeting point was easy to find and the staff was really nice. Our guide, Jimmy the Chicken man, was funny, knowledgeable and really made this tour worth it. You can always do it on your own but you would miss out on all the history and anecdotes about the statue and Ellis Island. As suggested, we took the early tour and it was great. It got extremely busy after 10 am. The small group allowed for a fun morning. Ask for Jimmy. You won’t regret it.

This was my husband and my first trip to NYC. We took this tour the 2nd day and learned so much about the history of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Remy, our tour guide was quite knowledgeable about the history of both. Remy made us feel like family and also provided suggestions of local eatery places. If you can, request Remy, he ROCKS!

An informative, well-paced, and enjoyable visit to two iconic sites. Tim did a great job of guiding the group, sharing with everyone range of tidbits and nuggets of information that broadened our understanding of the history and lasting importance of both sites. He also did a great job fielding all sorts of questions from the youngest ones in the group, truly listening and respectfully taking the questions as serious inquiries from these young minds, rather than distractions. He also did a wonderful job to anticipate needs or wishes of participants, for example making sure everyone was able to get their photos (including a few that he took for us) in front of most notable stops along the way. A very inclusive tour and experience. Highly recommend the tour and Tim!

Amazing tour. The guide, John, was very knowledgeable about the Statue and Ellis Island. The tour and information about Ellis Island will surprise you! There is so much information about Ellis Island that we did not know about. John educated us on this. Highly recommend this tour! The whole tour was organized very well!
