I regret booking my tour with La Vacanza Travel. They have shared an address which doesn’t show the correct meeting point. When I visited the place after booking, no one turned up. They didn’t had an option to call the guide. I waited with my wife and daughter for long time and had to proceed to Edge tour on own. They didn’t mention how the tour will start. When I complained the customer service, they haven’t responded properly and later was able to talk to a staff who said she can only refund the money and the ticket is void. I asked for a refund and went to the tour on my own. She said I will get the refund. After few days I got a mail that money can’t be refunded and the meeting point was Apple Store. So sad to read that and my money can’t be refunded. My holiday experience was ruined due to La Vacanza Travel. I will never book any tour with La Vacanza Travel going forward. Very bad customer experience and waste of money. Wouldn’t recommend the app to anyone.
It was a very nice day with many learnings about New York. We loved it. My family liked everything and the very good tour guide was attentive to everything. Very nice experience.
A well organised experience, staff where excellent and the views are superb would definitely recommend this trip.
I paid $459 for a tour and when the day came they told me it was a self tour but they had me and my crew standing at 34th Ave at 9:45a to later tell us it was a self tour and charged my card and was never able to use the digital tickets and I even tried to use them once we found our way there and they denied access of printing out the tickets
I booked this experience for the 31st of December but the weather was really poor with no visibility. We were offered to get either a refund or re-book on a different date. We opted to book for 2 days later (earliest availability). That evening, the night sky was clear and crisp and visibility was great. The city looked stunning at night and you got to spend as much time as you want on the observation deck. There are some steps that you can climb on and you can (safely) take pictures of the city over the glass wall so the pictures don't have window reflections. Additionally, sitting on the glass floor and looking down at the traffic under the deck is really quite an experience (at least for people with fear of heights/depth). What I really like about this experience was that you did not feel shepherded from one place to another and told after 2 minutes that you need to move on and make room for the next group (such as it happened at One Vanderbilt). Also, it was considerably cheaper that One Vanderbilt. I would definitely recommend this skyscraper experience for viewing the city.
