    We didn't have the opportunity to partake due to illness with our allocated guide ( we hope that the guide is feeling better). Due to not living in the area, another date didn't suit, but we did receive a full and prompt refund through the 3rd party booking agency used by the tour operator.

    Mel, our guide, knew all the stories and brought them to life with a great style of telling. The walk itself is fairly leisurely and we were lucky enough to have perfect weather with a sky full of stars and a nice breeze. Altogether a great 90 minutes. Loved it.

    Excellent. Budget friendly. Very knowledgeable lady and excellent stories. Get to see another side of Newcastle. Nice walk. a hill but not too steep.

    This was a Christmas gift from my sister and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of stories there were in this tour. I am a novocastrian and have always lived in Newy and didn’t know a single story. The tour guide Violet was very passionate and really knew her stuff. She was very professional and checked in with us during the tour guide. I really appreciated the content warnings when we got to a story that was about SA. I’d recommend this tour for visitors to Newy as well as fellow novocastrians
