This private surf lesson is ideal if you are looking for an intensive learning process.

The lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have already had lessons and are looking to improve.

You will be met at the surf school by the coach, who will assess your surfing experience and tailor the lesson to your current ability.

These lessons give lots of instruction and assistance over a short period of time, so ideal if you are looking to accelerate the learning process.
• All equipment is included: wetsuits, surfboards and boots and gloves if its in the colder months
• Use of the Escape Surf School facilties including hot showers and changing rooms

What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

Experience private coaching with with one of our experienced surf coaches: ideal if you want to fast-track your surfing.
This course is great for beginners looking for an intense introduction to surfing. However this course is perfect if you've already had a few surf lessons and are looking to improve your technique, catch more waves or iron out bad habits.

You will be met at the surf school by the coach, who will assess your surfing experience and tailor the lesson to your current ability. These lessons give lots of instruction and assistance over a short period of time, so ideal if you are looking to accelerate the learning process.

For all abilities, we spend approximately 20 minutes on the beach discussing, technique, skills etc. then the remaining time is spent in the ocean catching waves, with hands-on coaching from the surf coach.

Andrew was an excellent instructor and I learned so much during our lesson even with the challenging weather conditions. Heated shower and changing rooms were a bonus. Would highly recommend.

Had an excellent visit, so much so that we repeated it the next day. Beginner lesson with Henry for my two sons aged 6 and 8. Big waves but he kept them safe and they loved it. Will be back for a week family course when we can

Absolutely amazing time! There's a reason why this is THE best surf school in Newquay, and that's the fact that Mike is a living legend... Awesome coach. One-on-one for two hours and I have some great pointers to work on and practice. Definitely recommend! This guy knows every inch of the seabed, and what that does to wave formation, where it will break next and just when. Couldn't have been better!

My teenage daughter surfed with Escape over 5 days this last week and had a superb experience. 4 of those days she joined larger groups and on the last day she got 1:1 coaching from Mike, the owner (and a hugely experienced surfer with international competition experience). All of the sessions were well run and high calibre, with coaches who remained focused and committed to student advancement the whole time. These folks are really professional, friendly and do a great job. The final session in the water with Mike was brilliant - my daughter said it was one of the best days of her life! She made great progress and felt she learned more about surfing in that 2 or so hours, than the rest of the week - and to be clear, she loved the rest of the week too. We felt the entire week represented excellent value for money. If you're looking for somewhere to progress your surfing skills, from total beginner all the way through to competition standard - this is the place to go. Thank you Escape for being so very easy to deal with too.
