We went for kayaking with James and it was a wonderful experience. Checked out multiple locations along the shore, understood the history, watched a lot of birds and seals and at the same time had a great time doing this adventure. James was a great guide and very patient with us since we were beginners. Highly recommended!!
We ended up kayaking in the estuary instead of the sea as the weather took a turn for the worse, Sean (the manager) was on this days in advance to arrange this for us as we’d originally booked in august, his communications and hospitality throughout the whole weekend of activities we booked was fantastic, thank you! Alex is who took us out on the water! He was great fun, helpful and encouraging, he clearly enjoys what he does! The kayaking was equal parts relaxing, challenging and hilarious and it was a great way to end our winter weekend in Newquay and just incase anyones wondering the wetsuits gloves and boots in all activities really make them doable even at this time of year! Don’t let the fact it’s winter put you off!
Nice trip. Jacob, the instructor was very knowledgeable about the history of Newquay. With his l good storytelling skills we spent lovely trip exploring the area while kayaking.
We had a great time kayaking with Alex in and around all of the hidden caves and coves. He made us feel very at ease and made the trip fun and interesting. Highly recommended. Thank-you Alex!
