Their customer service is the main reason for the low ratings. While I do understand that outside the states, the customer is rarely right, but that doesn’t change our experience. The initial message sent explaining where to meet and how to identify the tour guide, had minimal information so we ended up waiting at the main gate next to the one they were going to meet. The tour guide after we had finally found him far away from where the tour had began mentioned that most people find them easily which means that some don’t but apparently there has been no action taken to make sure that all customers are successful at finding the guide. I called the number provided twice to get help in finding our guide in the individual was not only not helpful, but also sarcastic. he said look for a group of 20 and I said there’s a lot of people here so I don’t think if that’s helpful and he snaps back yes it’s a city of 200,000 or whatever. Was also very confusing was that I had booked them through Empire city tour, so that was the name of the tour I was looking for yet the tour guide a thing around his neck that said radius tours. Apparently, that is another company and they work together which again does not help with identification. The good thing is that there are a lot of tours like this, and we have friends visiting from the states, and I made sure to let them know not to book through this agency. The tour guide himself is pretty knowledgeable especially if you’re into history.

Our guide, Nick was a wealth of knowledge! He had an excellent pace for a rather large group of attendees of varying ages and was very diplomatic in presentation of the history of the city. We saw all of Old Nuremberg, ate lunch on our own, and with his assistance, used public transportation to/from the Nazi Party Rally Grounds. This was a big walking day. We logged about 7 miles (some steep climbs and steps) on the day of the tour. If you have orthopedic ailments, this may not be the tour for you. Otherwise, highly recommend without reservations. A very economical half-day excursion.

I really wish I could remember our guides name. He was excellent and one of the most interesting guides I have ever had on a tour. Totally recommend.
