From the very beginning when Dex Ary ('Ary') picked us up at the cruise terminal in Bali, we knew we had a friend in Bali. He knew English enough to converse with us nicely. Though we had originally told him the order of sites to see, we changed that in the last minute due to the delay in our accommodation in Bali. Ari knew the directions to each place, even suggested a change to save some time and gave a few tips on what to see. He was also very flexible, was willing to meet our schedule even if it meant get up early or stay late. We were so impressed that I recommended Ary to my brother and his wife who was visiting Bali after we left. Wish there were more like Ary!
