The group was so large that we could not hear the story teller. With this large number of people (about 40) it is impossible to create a spooky story telling atmosphere. The gentleman had to move from left to right to address the whole group leaving the opposite side not to hear anything. This can be done so much better if groups are smaller, creating a more intimate, atmospheric setting. Oxford at night was definitely a fabulous stage...but not used to it's advantage.

Unfortunately none of us thought this tour was very good. Considering it was supposed to be a ghost walk, there was no creepiness or eeriness involved. It was more like a general history tour. The guide kept stumbling over his words and didn't make it theatrical. He didn't wait for all the group to make it to the next location before talking and stood in areas too busy and noisy to be able to concentrate and hear properly. We expected some jump out scares from costumed actors along the way, but what we actually got was just a giant inflatable dinosaur costume and some pig noises. Very disappointed, worst ghost tour we've ever done.
