Day 1: Start Spangled Start
Stop At: Gloucester Cathedral, 12 College Green, Gloucester GL1 2LX England
The tour starts with a rousing chorus of the Star Spangled Banner at Gloucester Cathedral, where John Stafford Smith wrote the music that was later adapted as the US National Anthem.
Harry Potter fans will recognise the glorious surroundings of the cathedral on a private tour, taking in historical curiosities movie moments.

Stop At: Worcester, Worcester, Worcestershire, England
Thomas Jefferson and John Adams visited Worcester, one of the final battle sites of the English civil war and took inspiration which later formed the basis of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. We visit the site where Jefferson and Adams addressed a crowd with a speech encouraging every Englishman to make a pilgrimage to the city.

Day 2: Prison and the Promise of Freedom
Stop At: Lincoln Castle, Castle Hill Castle Square, Lincoln LN1 3AA England
After exploring some of the Mayflower links to northern Lincolnshire, we stop at Lincoln Castle to see the Magna Carta on display in its vault.

Stop At: Boston Guildhall, South Street, Boston PE21 6HT England
We travel to Boston to learn about the Pilgrims’ first attempt to flee England and stand in the very cells in which they were imprisoned.

Day 3: Historic Harwich
Stop At: Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial, Madingley Road Madingley, Cambridge CB23 7PH England
To start the day, the tour will pause for reflection at the American Memorial Cemetery in Cambridge, a truly peaceful example of the special relationship between the UK and US.

We follow an interactive tour around Harwich, the spiritual home of the Mayflower, and visit the home of the ship’s captain, Christopher Jones.

Day 4: London Docks

In preparation for setting sail, we guide you on a private tour of the national maritime museum, exploring the naval history of Britain and what life was like on transatlantic voyages at the time of the Mayflower Pilgrims.

Guests will take a private tour around this iconic landmark and learn about some of the American sympathizers who were imprisoned there, including William Penn, before viewing the crown jewels.

Day 5: Setting Sail
Stop At: The D-Day Story, Clarence Esplanade, Portsmouth PO5 3NT England
As the tour heads to the south west, we make our first stop at the historic naval city of Portsmouth to visit the D-Day Story, an interactive museum telling the story of the Allies' Normandy landings.
Before heading to our next stop, guests will be invited to the very room where General Eisenhower gave the green light for Operation Overlord.

Stop At: Southampton, Southampton, Hampshire, England
We stop for lunch at the historic port city of Southampton. Before lunch, a brief walk will take us along the city walls to the Mayflower Memorial, commemorating where the Mayflower originally set sail after leaving London to meet its fated sister ship, the Speedwell.

Day 6: Plymouth
Stop At: Buckland Abbey, National Trust, Yelverton, Dartmoor National Park PL20 6EY England
Before getting to Plymouth, we visit Buckland Abbey, the home of famous explorer and early colonist, Sir Francis Drake. The house also has links to other famous explorers.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Mayflower Steps, West Pier The Barbican, Plymouth PL1 2LR England
We then make the short journey to Plymouth to visit the Mayflower Museum and stand on the very steps where the Pilgrims finally boarded their ship as they made their journey to America.
We’ll also take in that famous of British traditions, fish and chips.

Day 7: American Art and Churchill's Home

Our final day begins with a visit to the American Museum in Bath, the only museum dedicated to American decorative arts outside the US and the beautiful gardens which are based on those at Mount Vernon.

Our last stop before London is Blenheim Palace, ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill before we head back to London where guests can enjoy an evening in Britain’s capital at their leisure.
