Overview

It truly is my pleasure to show guests around my marvellous hometown. I've travelled far and wide and there are few places on the planet that can compete with the beauty, history, and majesty of central Oxford. I've been a student here for three years now, and it would be my pleasure to show you around.

We’ll cover as much as we can in three hours. Please note that entry fees are not included in the fee, though they are not necessary for a fantastic tour. NB: with groups of one or two (and possibly three - if we're lucky!), we can access practically every site for free with my student card.

Please note: Colleges, libraries, and other university sites are liable to occasional closures. I will always do my best to plan around closures when they are announced, but please be aware that access cannot be guaranteed.

For more options, dates/times & greater flexibility, or if you have any specific requirements, please message me through my website - Oxfordaudiotour [dot] com.

Spencer knows ALL there is to know about Oxford and he loves questions! He showed me and my colleague places we would never have seen without him, and he tailored the tour to suit our interests. We'll definitely contact him again!

Spencer is a charming character, so well informed and genuinely passionate about Oxford’s history. He throws in little extra snippets of information that only a student who is truly familiar with this wonderful city would know. His open and friendly demeanour put us at ease straight away and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him!

Spencer showed one of our groups of new post-docs and once again, the feedback was electric! We really struck gold with Spencer and we’ll definitely be back.

Spencer provided a sensational walking tour of Oxford & Blenheim. he helped us park conveniently (awfully difficult there) and then catered wonderfully well for one of us in a motorised wheelchair. he is funny, smart and well educated on local and English matters. we went at a pace that was suited us. we couldn't have been happier. if youre visiting Oxford make sure you get a tour from this gentleman. he became more of a friend than a tour guide.

We had a wonderful time on our tour of Oxford with Spencer. He was very engaging and clearly very knowledgeable on all things Oxford! He has a real passion for the history of the city and was full of answer to my endless questions! What made it more special was that he was appreciative of the fact that we were on a hen party and even offered to stop at his recommended pubs along the way - although we were too busy sticking to our weekend schedule to manage it! Would fully recommend for his engaging presentation, as well as the more fluid and bespoke nature of his tour. The cherry on top is that the proceeds go to charities.
