Nearly perfect EXCEPT when we arrived with our confirmed paid reservation for 6 they only showed a reservation for 5, therefore we were not able to participate.
Instructor was very knowledgeable and good with the children. Appreciated all of her tips, tips that I'll apply to baking overall.
The workshop is not really a workshop, it's more like a demostration of how to make the macaron meringue. The girl who runs it is lovely, but the experience in itself - we thought - is not really worth the money. The hands-on experience is mixing the filling and filling up 2 macarons each. My daughter thought it was dissapointing that for 2 people (1 adult and 1 child) we got 8 round cookies, so basically 4 macarons. We wrongly thought that a macaron contains both cookies :). The good thing is that we got the receipe.
The chef was so friendly, cheerful, and informative. She was excellent with children and with adults.
Wonderful presentation wonderful baker. Thought she spoke more french than necessary as it was an English class. The Quebecers in class likely spoke English. But it was wonderFul
