This tour was beyond our expectations. Régis is an excellent driver, his van is both spotless and comfortable. Régis is well versed in the history of Operation Overlord and his delivery of the facts included maps and relevant photographs that supported the discussion. He planned our tour so that we were either before the other tours at the various locations or after. This allowed us to have the time that we each needed to reflect without feeling rushed and to take photographs that did not include hordes of people. When the emotionality of the events that occurred during Operation Overlord took hold, he was both compassionate and understanding. Régis is a true gem.

Had a great trip and Regis was a wonderful guide that made the tour very informative. We will certainly use Regis the next time we tour Omaha Beach or any war time destinations.

My daughter and I went to Normandy Beach. It was one of our favorite places. Regis, our guide was the best! He was so knowledgeable, patient, and kind. His English was very good! He dropped us off right in front of our hotel. We felt very safe with him. I would definitely book again with La Vacanza Travel.

My wife and I just spent a week in Paris and the highlight of our trip was the day with spent with Regis in Normandy. To start, Regis was communicative and punctual as far as instructing us where to meet him early in the morning. He gave a warm welcome and we got on the road for our journey to Normandy. On the way, Regis provided valuable historical information about the Allied forces invasion of Normandy to give us context for what we were about to see firsthand. We spent the day on the beaches, museums, and the cemetery under his guidance. Regis has extensive knowledge and has a passion for his job making his tour such a great, memorable experience. I definitely recommend hiring Regis and Adrian Roads if you're looking for the best tour of Normandy!

Just got back from this amazing and very moving trip to Normandy. Regis was our guide and he was the perfect mix of information and space to enjoy the day. We were picked up at the door to our hotel and after a long day dropped off there as well. We stopped at Pont Du Hoc, Omaha beach (where Regis encouraged me to collect a tiny bit of sand), the Caen Peace museum and bunker, and the american cemetery. Such an important piece of history and a truly priceless experience. I strongly recommend this tour it was once in a lifetime!
