Amazing. I was worried about it being too creepy, but the audio guide puts all of the history into context and I gradually became more relaxed as the tour went on. Be warned: LOTS of winding stairs up and down, bring your own earphones as they didn’t provide us with any (the audio was also very muted even after using my own earphones), and there is a portion of the tunnel close to the end where the ceiling is less than 5’10” tall.

The best part of visiting the catacombs during the winter months were the lack of crowds. We could take our time looking at the displays while the excellent audio guide took you through each section. It’s incredible to think there are over a million bones buried underneath Paris, representing all kinds of people from aristocrats to paupers.

The Catacombs themselves were fabulous. Well worth a visit. Booking through TripAdvisor was nerve wracking as you don't get your actual tickets until 24 hours before your visit (this is mentioned when you book). The day we went the staff were having problems with counterfeit tickets. My advice is to have all your booking details easily accessible. Great trip and absolutely fascinating

Extremely important to get head sets as the recordings tell you the story throughout as you navigate the catacombs. The experience is unique and must so if you’re visiting Paris. Lines, entrance process and experience was super cool. My seven year old learned so much and I was impressed she as not scared. Recommend this place.

The line was organized and quick. The staff spoke multiple languages and were helpful. It was a great experience and HIGHLY suggest it. Wear comfy shoes because there are stairs and walking involved. The audio guide was also very informative
