Option 1: if you opt for the Montmarte food tour, your local Parisian guide will take you to an artisanal, where you'll see and taste some of the best chocolates and macaron in the city. You'll enjoy a freshly made crêpe and learn about the difference between crêpe and galette. . Your tour will include a stop at a boulangerie where you can sample classic French breads and baguettes and learn why you should never eat a baguette the wrong way around. You'll savor fromages from the best cheese shop in the area and visit a local butcher, where you'll enjoy the finest cured sausages and hams. This was an ok food tour, the guide was very good. Compared to other food tours I have been on the food offered was not worth the price paid. Very average food, a single glass of wine and cider. If you have never taken a food tour in Paris and have nothing else to compare to, you may think this was good. But it was very weak compared to the other food tours I have been on. The guide was excellent, which helped some, but the tour is about the food, the guide cannot compensate for how mediocre and basic the food was.

We had an exceptional tour and our guide Agatha was the prime reason. Have had many guides in many countries but Agatha may have been the best ever. Her humor, knowledge, presentation skills- all extraordinary. She made this such a fun tour. Yes, the variety of food was great, as well as the wine, but it was the laughter and fellowship of our group, lead by Agatha, which made for a truly enjoyable evening.

I'm so glad we booked this tour as it was such a great way to see the city. The food was plentiful! Exceeded my expectations and wish I hadn't had my light breakfast beforehand. They don't scrimp on the food either, cheese from a MOP Fromagerie, macrons from 'Pablo Picasso de Macron'. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality as they could easily have just chosen cheap places - but we tried the best. Nana was an excellent guide and so friendly and knowledgeable. I can't recommend this tour enough.
