Hugo was great. I can’t imagine visiting the louvre for the first time without a guide. The museum is huge and can be overwhelming. Hugo led us to the most interesting items quickly, avoiding crowds while explaining bits of history the entire time. Upon completion, we were able to stay and wonder around as we felt fit. We also visited the cafe in the second floor which has a great view of the glass pyramid. Art is not what you see, but what you make others see…

We booked a 2 hour tour with Fernanda and what a treat!! Her communication ahead of time helped to us to have an amazing time. As an art historian with knowledge of all the museums you will love her extensive knowledge. We learned about medieval and renaissance art, and understood more of the historical context of the culture at those times! She made our time together an enriching experience! The Louvre is huge and yet with Fernanda it was private and and so enjoyable. 👍🏻🇫🇷👍🏻🇺🇸

Hugo gave us a fantastic tour of the Louvre; he kept our daughters (ages 11 & 13) quite engaged and taught us all so many insightful and fascinating things about the collection and the history of the museum. One of the highlights of our time in Paris!

Lucien is a storehouse of history and stories of Paris. We were on a tight schedule and Lucien helped us beat the queue and he guided us through the various exhibits without ever making it feel hurried. When we return we now know (thanks to Lucien) exactly where we need to spend time at the Louvre. I would highly recommend Lucien.
