Our guide, Clement, was engaging and informative. We very much enjoyed the stories he told and the humour he brought to it. So glad we chose this over the self guided tour. Would highly recommend. Also thanks to the staff member who took some photos of us - he knew what he was doing, great photos.
This indigo blue house is really beautiful and the interior deco shows the good taste of the house owner as well. I also went to the Peranakan Mansion and I think the Cheong Fatt Tze's Mansion looks more organized. Both mansions offer tour guides and because the number of people accepted in a batch at Blue mansion is limited, the touring experience was better. Only drawback is that there are only a small part of the Blue Mansion open to visitors as the rest part is used as hotel and only open to residents.
Beautiful building and informed guide. Was really interesting to hear the history of the building and the people that lived in its
Apparently Ms Loh only does the tours one day a week (Friday this week). She was AMAZING. She rightly is passionate about all things to do with the house, including getting UNESCO status. The stories and knowledge were inspirational and we will remember this tour for a long time. Do not miss it!
Very good and interesting tour with excellent tour guide. However, way too many participants to fully enjoy the tour. 50% less participants would have given the participants a much better opportunity to see and hear the tour guide!
