Experience a full-day Petra tour starting from the Dead Sea.
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in the Dead Sea and then start the drive towards the Petra site.
Our English-speaking driver will take you along the Desert Highway to Petra. Depending on road conditions the drive will last a minimum of 3 hours including one stop on the way to Petra.

Once you arrive at the visitor center in Petra, the driver with you will assist with the purchase of your tickets and a local guide (optional) if you are interested in more information about the architecture and history of the area.

The rose-red city of Petra is the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended into Syria.
Upon arrival, you will begin the trip on horseback (Optional ) to the canyon, the so-called Siq, and then by foot to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Among other monuments you will see are the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh’s Castle.
Petra was also chosen to be one of the New 7 Wonders of the world.

After the tour has concluded you will meet with your driver at the same place you were dropped off (Visitor Centre ), from there you will get ready for the drive back to the Dead Sea or you can choose to be dropped off at the Airport or a specified location in Amman area.
