Stop At: Bystraya/Malkinskaya River, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Russia
The Bistraya (Malkinskaya) river rises in the foothills of the Ganal Range and flows almost from the center of the peninsula to the Okhotskoe sea. It is Kamchatka's second longest river. The maximum water level is in June, because of the intense snowmelt in the mountains. The width of the river in a rafting zone – 50-150 meters, speed of the current – 1-4m/s, the total length – 120 kilometers. Our rafting begins 150 kilometers far from Petropavlovsk – Kamchatsky (3 hours by the car) and crosses the scenic locations. During the whole route you can do fishing for different types of salmon using spinning rod. In the salmon spawning season, there is a chance to meet a brown bear.
