What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

11.30 am. Start your day with a pickup from your accommodation in a luxury, air-conditioned van. From there, take a scenic drive through beautiful scenery to the sanctuary located in the jungle. Meet your guide and learn a little more about the elephants before gathering up some bananas and cane sugar.

1.30pm. Follow your guide through the forest and watch the elephants resting up in the hills, and discover the free-roaming elephants in a safe, sustainable and ethical environment. Your guide will tell you about each elephant's individual stories.

Walk with the elephants down from the hill. You will learn about their lifestyle and behaviors.

3 pm.Watching the wildlife animals play in the mud and bathe in the ponds by themselves and you will learn from our experienced tour guide with our elephants.

Finally, enjoy a delicious set menu lunch and a dish from the Thai Cooking Class together with seasonal fresh fruits before heading back to your hotel.

    Incredible experience! Up close with elephants, we fed them, petted them and bathed them. We appreciate how well they are treated and cared for. Professional and knowledgeable staff, we felt safe. We also enjoyed our cooking lesson. The green papaya salad was fun to make and delicious!

    This was a great experience! We didn’t want to go anywhere where the animals were being abused or overworked, and this was exactly the right place. They rescue elephants from animal shows and logging camps all over Thailand, and bring them to the sanctuary to care for them. There was even a very fun cooking class before we got to feed the elephant.

    I chose this tour because it seemed to focus on the wellbeing of the elephants as well as the “touristy” aspects… it definitely did. Dang was an excellent guide and the entire team were very professional. The weather was very hot so the water was very welcome.

    Overall it was a good tour and as expected. I thought it was a bit odd to have food right away rather than the end. And they didn't mention to bring swimwear but you get to swim with elephants. So communicating these things better would have helped. But it was otherwise a good tour.

    Absolutely fantastic day out. MR Whu and his team were first class So lovely to see the beautiful creatures rescued and being cared for with real affection Go to be really close with them feed them and even bath them Unlike anywhere I've been before, professional photos were free to upload Honestly, I can say it deserves 100 stars Brilliant
