Witnessing the ancient traditions associated with Muay Thai in a great atmosphere generated by dedicated fans of the sport with 3 types of seating options.
The first fight is between two youngsters from Phang Nga and it really hots up in the last round when there's all to go for. But the fickle crowd wants hardcore action and they certainly get it in the next bout between a reputable red-trunked teenager and a not-very-fierce-looking guy in blue trunks. Despite his killer reputation and in spite of mauling blue trunks for two rounds, red trunks gets knocked out cold in the third. This is the inherent attraction of Patong Boxing Stadium – there's no pretense and the fighters have everything to box for – from a few thousand baht a match to over a million baht for a stab at a national title.
Boxing starts at 21:00pm and finish around 23:00 - 23:15pm

Husband and sons had a great night. Pick up was as planned from hotel and return. Well catered within the stadium as well.

The Muay Thai experience was AMAZING! The fights from young to more experienced were received well by the crowd. We especially liked the good sportsmanship between opponents ensuring the other person was okay! The transport there was no issue however be prepared to hunt down your transport driver for the way home (they will have a list with your name). The stadium offered comfortable seats, good service. The toilet amenities were disgusting. The smell, the colour of the water and nope no paper in sight. You would not want to wash with the water available. This was the only downside of the event. We had a blast and will return though!

I would recommend booking tickets directly with the stadium, and getting a grab to and from the stadium. The guide was hard to get into contact with, and so we ended up just finding our own transportation to the venue. It’s a long show with several matches, so booking your grab affords the opportunity to leave early.

Excellent evening’s entertainment booked for my husband’s birthday. We were promptly collected from our hotel and our driver was waiting for us after the event. The staff inside the stadium were lovely.
