What a truly magical place. Trou Aux Biches is a great resort with some amazing staff who made us feel very special Mautourco organised two trips for us that were both entertaining and informative Our thanks go to Audrey who organised the trips, Jose who captained the catamaran ( he deserves his own TV show ) and especially Javed who gave us a guided tour of the island. He is knowledgeable and truly charming

We were collected by Raggoo our driver from the Sugar Beach Hotel for a day tour. He took us the south where we saw the waterfalls, giant tortoises and visited a cashmere shop. We had lunch on the peak and then back through the beautiful scenery to the rum distillery. Raggoo is a highly experienced, knowledgeable guide and looked after us so well. My husband is partially disabled with impaired mobility and he made sure he was safe and adjusted the tour accordingly. His knowledge was fantastic and he was able to answer all our questions. He personally took us round the rum distillery so we didnt have to join the large groups which would have meant standing around a great deal more. We learnt loads and would highly recommend. He even took us shopping before we went back to the hotel. Much appreciated.

We hired a car and did the southern tour eith our guide, Ragu, he was an absolute star and told us everything we wanted to know since the start of the island and all the historical details! it was such a pleasure sharing theday with us!

We booked our honeymoon through Kuoni who then organised all private transfers from hotels we stayed at to the airport and all transfers on booked trips through Mautourco. I cannot speak highly enough about all transfers we had during our trip in Mauritius with these lovely people. The drivers made us feel safe while driving and were always offering knowledge and facts about their lovely home and island. We learned so much about Mauritius through all the journeys we had been on and their pride for their country really shone through. We loved learning lots of tit bits of information and asking questions on just about anything to do with Mauritius. As part of a transfer from one hotel to another (Chamarel to Belle Mare), we booked a day with a driver where we were taken to Chamarel waterfall, 7 coloured earth, Black River Gorges, Hindu temple, run distillery and cashmere shop before being dropped off at our next hotel. We got a lot in one day! The driver was very knowledgeable about everything we visited and I particularly liked the fact that we were given some time to explore the sites for ourselves after he told us a bit about them. He also told us what to do and what not to do at each site - handy for tourists in an unknown territory especially at the Hindu temple. We were never forced to buy anything, it was totally our choice to visit local markets and we didn't feel at all pressured to do anything we didn't want to. The trip was completely tailored to our needs. I would highly recommend booking transfers and trips through this company, you'll learn a lot about the country with the best and safest drivers.

Wonderful trip, driver was very helpful and explained a lot about local history and nature. Delicious lunch in restaurant with gorgeous views. We managed to see a lot in one day.
