  • Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult and with the consent of parents / guardians to participate in the activity
  • Canyoning can be practiced by anyone who has the basic skills of progression / walk in mountain, able to withstand physical exertion intensity over medium-low and for periods of time more or less prolonged (lasting about reference: 3 hours and average distance reference terrain: 1 km). Although, we just have some limitations, required by the equipment sizes, including: - Minimum height and weight: 25 Kg | 130cm - Maximum height and weight: 115 kg | 210 cm
  • Trek Portugal reserves the right to cancel activities, with no compensation. In this case, Trek Portugal reimburses to the customer the amount already paid, after deducting the expenses incurred in organizing the respective activity and Viator/Tripadvisor commissions, in case of bad climatic conditions, hydrographic, or other security reasons for the practice of canyoning.

Miguel and Andrea were very professional and fun. They made sure everyone on the trip was so comfortable and ask were knowledgeable about the area. We had a blast!

Absolutely sensational day. Our host, Gil, was possibly the nicest and best guide we've ever had. He drove us all the way there and back from Braga as part of the price and even came back later that evening to return something we'd left in his car. Such a great guy. Him and the rest of the team were so knowledgeable, organised and welcoming and everything ran incredibly smoothly. There was a perfect amount of challenge throughout the day and you always felt completely safe. No idea why this doesn't have more reviews - it's absolutely unbelievable value. We did book it for 85 euros directly from the Trekportugal site though which is probably the cheaper way to pay for it. Either way, 100% book this if you can - Gil and all the other members of the team deserve all the customers they get and you'll have one of the best days of your holiday without doubt.

Not worth it the write up Of the excursion is not reflective of what the experience is… beginners activity… not for teen boys (15&18) even they state it’s for the “bold” and there “cliff jumping” and water slides… the kids need non of this… the jumping was 5 feet the “repelling down the “cliff” was a joke short ropes etc… the angles of the advertising pics is strategic and misleading ! My boys asked to go higher the guide say no no no too dangerous… at the end he climbed up and jumped as he was “hot” totally ridiculous activity!! Picked up at 830 am… 1 hour drive to location… then get fitted etc… do a bit of the “adventure “ then a two hour lunch at local restaurant and turn in your gear and drive back to Porto… gone for about 6-7 hours and very little “activity”… do not do this trip if your adventurous or over 13… total waste of time!!

The tour guide was knowledgable and very enthusiastic about the tour. One of the best tours of our trip. The canyoning gear was in excellent shape and well taken care of. The shoes were especially good at maintaining traction on the slippery rocks. We enjoyed the tour overall. I would highly recommend this tour.

Diese Tour war ein "Must". Wir haben mit Bruno den Nationalpark Geres besucht. Er brachte uns zu wunderschönen Orten, Wasserfällen mit Lagunen und kristallklarem Wasser, wo wir tauchen konnten. Wir hatten die Gelegenheit, wilde Tiere wie Ziegen und Pferde (Garranos) zu sehen. Bruno ist ein freundlicher Fremdenführer, der uns viele Geschichten und Kulturen der lokalen Dörfer näherbrachte. Diese Tour wird mit Sicherheit wiederholt werden. Danke Bruno.
