What Can You Expect?

Rest easy with a fully functioning bike, maintained by full time mechanics. The bicycles are comfortable, and easy to use. You will also get expertise and local knowledge of Porto with recommendations of the best places to ride and discover. You can also get advice on where to stop for a delicious local beverage and where to taste the freshest fish.

You will be supplied with bike locks and helmets for the security of you and the bike. On top of that you will get a city map of Porto especially designed for travelers using bikes. They show the whole Douro River banks and beaches and also highlight all the cycle paths in the city. If you are new to city biking, you don't have to worry because you can ride only mostly in parks and cycle paths.

Please note: the city bikes require a minimal hight of 1.50m. Children receive bikes adapted to their size.

We changed our bikes at the last minute from regular to e-bikes for our Camino Way trip. Biclas & Triclas quickly adapted and provided us with excellent bikes and a very thorough explanation of both the e-bikes and what to expect on our Camino Way trip. They are excellent!

Rented 2 traditional bikes to cycle to Matosinhos. Staff really helpful and bikes sturdy and well maintained. Used their helmets. Very enjoyable ride along the coast mostly on cycle paths.

During our city trip we wanted to rent some bikes to follow the Douro river and head to the seaside. We ended up choosing for Biclas & Triclas (also based on very good reviews), and we were surely not disappointed.
