Inflexible response from customer service when I learned that I would not be able to join the tour at the scheduled meeting point.

Porto is a great friendly place, food is great and reasonably priced. Visiting the Port Wine Caves is great if you are a port lover. The only downside is the hills, they are steep and long. The climb up from the Douro river to the Cathedral is 220 steps and a further climb up the slope. If you have any mobility issues you will find it hard. The hop on hop buses worked well and there are other ways of getting round the city.

Can’t thank Andre enough for his amazing tour that took us through Portuguese history and to show us the beauty of Porto. And what a difficult day to do it - high winds, hail and rain!!!! We were picked up right on time, and wondered what to expect due to terrible weather. Andre assured us that he would do his best to time our tour around the weather. That he did. The highlight for my husband, son and I was the train station. Andre did an outstanding job describing all the history reflected in the hand painted tiles. We would have never have linked the art to a journey through transportation evolution, and the creation of Portugal. His passion for history and the city he loves was very obvious and for us, we really appreciated him taking the time to tie all the history together as we went through the tour. The port wine cellar tour was very interesting and tasty too. Hearing about a family run business and their love for the grape was great. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about Portugal and see things they would otherwise miss. Andre had a microphone connected up front which mad it very easy to hear him and he amazingly did our tour in 2 languages to accommodate the other passengers. We were worried that this would hold the tour up, but it didn’t. He would explain in English and recommend for us to explore or grab an expresso which he spoke to the others. I was able to take lots of photos, people watch and spend more time looking around. Great pace. Totally worthwhile! Thanks from the Campbells

Amazing friendly guides. Small group ended up being just my family so it was even more fun especially as we had a 14mth old baby with us. Wine tasting was great and the views of the city, will always be memorable.

Little bit to little information and the groups should still be rather in one language.
