There is an exquisite charm to both Portofino and Santa Margherita. Even though the streets are busy with tourists, the crowds don't disrupt the enchantment of these beautiful cities by the sea. Our guide, Rosaleen, was so helpful with information, suggestions, and recommendations of how to make our journey even more interesting and memorable. We will never forget these two amazing towns.

Alessandra was our guide and she was great! She allowed us to pick and choose what we wanted to see and how long we wanted to stay in each place. Very informative, helpful, and was so pleasant. We would definitely recommend her for this excursion!

Our guide, Guilia, was great. Portofino and Santa Margherita are stunning. Be aware that it is a lot of walking uphill and down, and it was very hot when we went in July. Both towns are so small you really wouldn’t even need a guide, definitely not for all day. Guilia, did explain much of the history and culture, and bought us yummy pastries to try from a local bake shop. If you go when it’s hot, I’d suggest bringing bathing suits and going to the beach to cool off! You can also rent boats, kayaks, or paddle boards.
