Highlands Go-Karts is an exhilarating, totally sensorial experience that is fast becoming one of the most popular tourist activities in New Zealand.
Definitely not just for kids, go-karting is a thrilling hands-on experience you can enjoy solo or with the help of some friends/family to make things even more fun.

The Highlands outdoor Go-Kart Track is 650 metres long, consists of 672 cubic metres of concrete jungle and edged with 4,830 tyres – an impressive facility all around!

With a great collection of top quality, German built Rimo karts capable of speeds of up to 50 km/hr, you can select from single or two-seater options. Challenge your friends or bring the family and set your fastest lap time on our purpose-built Go-Kart track. Great for individuals, for groups or as a team building exercise!

    Highly recommend this experience! We took the kids (6 & 7 years old) in the tandem karts and they thought it was awesome! They got to have a turn at driving and just loved the whole experience. Staff were great too! Helpful and super friendly. Can't wait to go back again.

    Very fun afternoon out! Racing around on the Go Karts with a very competitive family was a lot of fun. Safety was on point and the facilities were lovely and clean. It was a beautiful day so we all enjoyed sitting in the outdoor cafe area watching the cars go around while enjoying a drink with a view. Another peculiar highlight was the trip to the ‘loo with a view’ which had a number of funny themed bathrooms! The crew at the GoKarting area could have been a little more enthusiastic and upbeat but the crew at the main check in desk and cafe more than made up for that as they were lovely!

    Fantastic experience, we loved every minute of it. The staff were amazing. We did go karts, drove the mustang, supercar laps and the taycan takeoff. What a great adrenaline rush, from a fantastic venue and team. Would go back again and again.

    What an absolute blast. Carts are fast without being crazy. Track is excellent and really tests your driving skills. Staff are friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go again and re-challenge my son.

    That was so much fun...it took me till the last lap to get the hang of the kart so need to go back again to better my time! The staff are so friendly and so very helpful, greeting us by our names and making us oldies feel like we were teenagers again. Thanks guys, I will be back!
