With over 8 million visitors per year, the long lines to get in to the Vatican are almost as famous as the place itself! Over 200 tour operators have "Skip-the-Line" entry to the Vatican, but this Official Partner Tour grants you special access to the Private Partner Entrance, which allows us to enter immediately, saving 3 to 4 hours during peak season and giving you even more time to explore the beauty of the Museums.

Once inside, you and your small group of 20 or fewer people will enjoy all the highlights of the Vatican Museums with an expert guide by your side. You'll also get your own headset, so you can be sure to catch every detail. Explore the Pinecone Courtyard, Hall of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries, and Gallery of Candelabra as you learn about the history of these magnificent pieces along the way.

Later, visit the stunning Sistine Chapel and take some time inside the world-famous room to pick out the details in works like the Creation of Adam. From Michelangelo's self-portrait to revenge for his enemies, you'll discover the secrets hidden within these incredible frescoes.
After the Sistine Chapel, enjoy No-Wait Access yet again, exiting through a special door that leads straight into St. Peter's Basilica, where you will enjoy a guided tour of the holiest place in Christendom. See the gilded altar and marvel at Michelangelo's beautiful sculpture, La Pietà, before heading outside to St. Peter's Square.

After all that, you'll leave the Vatican feeling like an expert!

If you want to enhance your Vatican experience, select one of the following experiences:

Small-Group Tour at 8:10am: Enter the Vatican Museums as soon as it opens, before the other lines enter. Your tour is limited to 12 people for personal attention and information about the Vatican's must-see sights.

Evening Tour at 7:30pm: Explore the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel after the doors close to the general public. A visit to St Peter's Basilica is not included.

  • Entrance fee
  • Professional guide
  • Skip-the-line entry
  • Headsets to hear the guide clearly

  • Gratuities (optional)

  • Guided visits are not allowed inside St. Peter's on afternoon tours due to religious functions. In this case guides provide full commentary from the Basilica's porch, and guests can visit the interior at their own pace without the guide
  • Tours departing Wednesday: There is a possibility that St Peter's Basilica and St Peter's Square will be unavailable due to the weekly Papal Audience during which access to St Peter's Basilica is closed.
  • Do you cater to wheelchair users? Do you or the Vatican provide wheelchairs? This tour is NOT wheelchair accessible or either strollers. For your information, Vatican Museums provide wheelchairs free of charge in the main lobby. You can easily pick one up after entrance, before starting your own independent visit. If you are looking for a guided tour with wheelchair access, we recommend booking our private tours so a guide can lead you through the alternate routes.

From start to finish, absolute first class. Apart from a couple of late shows, which slightly delayed the tour (being picky, but 5 minutes), the 3 hour was a great experience. The instructions for the meeting point was clear. Our tour guide was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. The Vatican was mind blowing. I thought the 3 hours might have been too much, but it flew by with so much to see. Highly recommended.

We choose this option for our trip to Rome. We do not regret it at all. We were able to skip any lines that existed. Laura was awesome!

Very easy meeting place, excellent tour. Guide was outstanding. Got exactly what we expected. The Vatican was very crowded the day we went. Using this tour was extremely beneficial, as the lines for entry were two-three hours long.

St. Peter's at Daybreak

We took the extra-early tour to really avoid lines and this is what St. Peter's looked like when we arrived about 7:45 a.m. -- bathed in a beautiful light. A nice nun indicated which way to walk to get to the museum entrance.
