We had a great time. It is a long bus ride. About 2.5 hours to Pompeii. Then 90 minutes there. I wish I would have planned a little better because we were so rushed we only saw about half. Then 30 minutes to Naples. A couple hours there was enough time to eat and take a few pictures then 3 hours back to Rome. 7am-7pm. Internet didn’t work on bus. But Nico (the guide) was very friendly. Bus was comfortable. A/C worked well. I would do it again.

The tour guide was amazing, I'm disappointed though the directions to find the bus were scarce. No restroom on the bus either

This could have been better. The drive to Pompeii was quiet but we were only given 1 hour and 20 minutes at Pompeii. We then spent 30 minutes waiting for a family of three who took it upon themselves to extend their visit to the ruins - which we all would have liked to have done but were too polite to do so. The guide did not even have a word with them regarding their complete rudeness. This family then pushed in line for everything as if it was their given right. They were also given ‘special’ drinks of Coca Cola because they did not want the wine at lunch. They received extra cheese and their pizza was cut up. This did not occur for anyone else. At the rest stop, which was ten minutes, for using toilets we then had to wait even longer for them because the wife wanted a coffee. It was disappointing.

What a great day. Had a bit of stress in the morning trying to find the location of the bus stop (instructions not very clear as to location) but otherwise had a lovely day. Guide on the bus was lovely and the tour guide Adelaide at Pompeii was amazing. So engaging and a wealth of knowledge. She really made my day so much more exciting. Top of my bucket list ticked off 😀

Overall, the trip was OK. The tour guide at Pompeii was very hard to understand due to her very strong Italian accent. Lunch after the Pompeii tour was at a local Italian restaurant and was great. We thought there might be some commentary along the trip to Pompeii and then on the way back from Naples to explain what we were seeing but it was a very quiet ride (great for those who wanted to sleep!).
