This day trip to the sandy beach at Sabaudia is a great way to escape the heat and crowds of Rome. We'll pick you up right at your lodgings and after about an hour's drive you'll be enjoying the golden sand beach and turquoise water of this tranquil seaside paradise.

At Sabaudia beach, you'll spend the day relaxing, swimming, eating strolling, and breathing in the refreshing sea air. Bring your own towels or rent beach chairs and umbrellas at one of the bathing establishments, where you can also get refreshments and things to eat. A variety of restaurants are also within walking distance.

If you fancy a little history in addition to suntanning, you'll have a perfect view of Torre Paola, the watchtower built in 1563, under the orders of Pope Pius IV, at a time the coast was under frequent attack by Saracen invaders.
Sabaudia’s also close to the pretty beach town of San Felice Circeo, just 30 minutes away by car.
To avoid traffic, we suggest an early departure from (7:30 am). The duration of the day trip is about 9/10 hours total, including driving times.
Be sure to bring sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and water if you don't fee like buying it.
