We scheduled this food tour for our first full day in Rome, which was perfect as it introduced us to foods and restaurants in Rome that we could revisit during our stay. Our tour guide was fantastic. Along with information about Rome's foods he also shared a little of Rome's history as we passed through memorable sites.

Amazing food options with a full in-depth description of their history and what traditional food is truly like in Rome. Came with good recommendations and our tour guide Marco was super knowledgeable and kind! Came with a lot of history too, not just food, which was lovely :)

I scheduled this street food tour as my first activity upon arriving in Rome. I selected the 6pm tour anticipating it would be the best way to have some dinner my first night and learn the lay of the land a bit since we'd be walking around. It was the BEST decision. The meet-up location was perfect. All of the stops had the best food...I was craving a suppli days later, bought one on another side of town and it was NOTHING like the one I had on this tour. There was even wine and beer involved for those who were interested. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to see that only one stop required an alternative tasting, which was cheese instead of ham. So for sure, if you are vegan, this is not the tour for your. For all of my vegetarians, just be sure to note that when you make your reservation and they will take care of you. My guide Mattia, was AMAZING! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, entertaining, and well spoken. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to try different finger/street foods while roaming the streets of Rome and immersing in the kind of history you don't get in other high profile guided tours.

Our tour guide Arianna was just excellent. Her enthusiasm was so infectious and sharing stories of her Italian family related to food we tried were memorable as well . The food samplers were meat appetizer and wine , slices of pizza along with beer . The famous fried Artichoke was just delicious and finally to finished off with gelato. 👍

Amazing tour with even more amazing tour guide Mattia! Didn’t expect to learn (and remember!) more historical facts than on an actual history tour. We got to try suppli, a variety of salami paired with wine, pizza margarita and pizza rossa at one of the oldest spots in Rome, fried artichoke in Jewish Quarter, topped with gelato in the end. A must!
