The event takes place in the garden and hall of a villa surrounded by greenery in the southern part of Rome.
Participants will touch hands-on with the basic ingredients, water and flour, and try their hand at different kneading and rising techniques. Different types of flours (00, 0, whole wheat, cereal, corn, manitoba, etc..) will be discussed and different bases prepared.
Next they will practice "Roman Style" rolling out of pizzas and their progressively more complex toppings.
Starting from the simple rosemary focaccia we will arrive at the "house pizza" with selected ingredients from the local area.
The meal will consist of pizzas cooked with at least five different types of toppings accompanied by a selection of regional wines and high-quality craft beers.
At the end, bread will be baked with the remaining dough and each guest will receive one or more loaves of freshly baked bread.
For those who wish to rest, the garden equipped with sun loungers and a ping-pong table is at the total disposal of guests for the duration of the event.
