Overview

Ready to see a live gladiator fight? For the first time in Rome, get to see gladiators in full costume and armor, in an almost real gladiator combat. With music, special lights & effects, be taken back thousands of years ago and find yourself in Ancient Rome. Witness a gladiators in action, Ancient Roman dances, fire jugglingand and Mine Performance! You make take photos, try on the authentic weapons and armor used by the Roman Gladiators!  Come relive the glory that Rome once was!

What Can You Expect?

The total duration of the show is an hour and a half. It takes place every Friday and Sunday from May to September. You must enter at 8:30pm, start with a short visit to the “Museum of the Roman Legionary” . After that, surrended by a charming atmosphere atmosphere, music, lights and effects,the show with performances by dancers, Gladiators, Legionnaires, fire jugglingand and MIME which is produced by historical reenactors and retreaders with real weapons and armor. The end of the event will be around 10 pm! The show is only in English. You can make photos, try on the authentic weapons and armor by the Roman gladiator.

This was easily one of the best things we did in Rome. The performers were open and friendly, the setting provided a complimentary atmosphere, and the show itself was thrilling. My wife and I enjoyed the performance from start to finish. It is an experience we will enjoy retelling to friends and family when we return home. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to the city, wether you are interested in Ancient Rome, or just looking for an entertaining night.

Our family (ranging from ages six to 65) thoroughly enjoyed this show! The actors were fantastic, and engaged the crowd (making us feel as if we were transported back in time). The light snack beforehand was the perfect touch, as we enjoyed the wine, cheese, and other tidbits. The lighting for the show was spectacular (as you can see in my photos), and really made the mood for the show. It was a little difficult navigating to the school, so I would highly recommend hiring an Uber ahead of time. We took the bus, but it was very difficult to figure out how to even find the bus stop from the underground station. If you do take the bus, go out of the station, take a right, turn right down the street, and walk about 1 mile down where there is a small island in the road. The bus stop is right there. From there, it is about a ten minute bus ride. It is also not easy to know when to get off the bus, so get off just as you turn onto Old Appian Way (with the cobblestones). Also, do bring bug spray, as you will need it.

This show is awsome! It is a MUST to see in Rome! Real gladiators, with real weapons fighting at 2,3 meters from you! If you are in Rome you must to see this unique show!

Muy buen espectáculo los actores inclusive arriesgan por demas. Para adultos puede ir en gustos pero algo distinto a los tours. El entorno y la exposición previa están muy bien. Si viajas con niños alucinan es obligado ir con ellos y al final las fotos de recuerdo.
