It was a wonderful experience. We both enjoyed sightseeing in a different way with more interactive activities. By the way, I strongly recommend it to the couples. It’s a good chance to know each other better.
My family really enjoyed this initially. A fun adventure for my 11 and 13 year old boys who may have gotten bored in the park otherwise. It’s definitely a commitment so be prepared to spend up to 3 hours. We were disappointed by the end. 2 of the stations were no longer accessible and the last 2 took us far away from the Borghese Gardens to a random and unattractive part of town. There was no prize or finale which was a let down after all that time and challenge.
My husband and I did this during our anniversary trip while we were in Rome. We had a bit of a hiccup at the check in but called the number and got what we needed right away. The game is overall challenging but not too hard and the automated helpline was convenient if needed. It took us about 3.5 hours to complete but we took our time and rested. It was about 90F but fortunately there was a good strong breeze and plenty of shade to rest in. Got some beautiful pictures along the way! Only other hiccup was that someone didn’t leave the tool at one of the stations so it was a little tough to do the activity. Overall, if you like puzzle games and want some great scenes with hiking, then I recommend this 100% Note: We couldn’t figure out one of the stations even with the helpline hint/solution. We also utilized our phone GPS to help figure things out directionally so may want to keep that in mind if you won’t have access while abroad.
We visit as a family with two children 12 and 13 years old. The experience was excellent and we really enjoyed it, even though we didn't manage to complete it (after 3 hours) cause it was raining on and off the whole time.
