Overview

We offer food tours that let you experience and taste Rotterdam in all its glory. Our savvy local guides will tell you wonderful stories about their city, and on the way you will stop many times for a special bite and/or drink. We let you taste the Dutch classics (bitterballen anyone?), but you also get to try many international specialties, and we end with a 'gezellige borrel' (a drink with friends) in a cool waterfront brewery. To get there we take a spectacular watertaxi ride, a must-do in Rotterdam. All in all, we have the recipe for your great afternoon in our wonderful home town!

Stop At: Rotterdam Centraal Station, Stationssingel 10, 3013 HA Rotterdam The Netherlands

This is our first point of interest. From here we will go on to visit many different spots in the city, including the West-Kruiskade, Kop van Zuid, Katendrecht, the Markthal, both bridges, the Nieuwe Binnenweg, and many more. On the way we will stop 7 times for lots of food: the Dutch classics like bitterballen, cheese and poffertjes, but also international delicacies, craft beers and chocolate. Come hungry!

    It was great to learn about the transformation of Rotterdam over the last 80 years. And the food was delicious too!

    We love to book food tours in new cities and we'd never been to Rotterdam. It was a fantastic tour with just 6 people led by our great guide Rob. The pace was perfect and the food (bites) were just right. We learnt so much about Rotterdam and the 4 hour tour was never rushed and we got a much better idea of the city than wandering ourselves. It also included a water taxi over to the Southside, something we wouldn't have done. Rob also showed us The Depot which we visited the next day. What a fantastic bit of advice that was. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rotterdam.

    Tour guide Rob was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a lovely group which helped to enjoy the experience fully. You get lots to taste and a good walk around Rotterdam for 4 hours.     We loved our tour guide, Rob. He introduced us to Dutch culture and lifestyle through food. He emphasized the distinct history and architecture of Rotterdam and showed us many city neighborhoods. It was a fun and educational tour. Highly recommend.

    This was by far one of the best food tours I've ever been to. Tim was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, and personable. He always managed to keep us engaged with fun facts. He even took the time to guide me back to the train station as I was returning to Eindhoven that very same day. I enjoyed the food that we tasted. All the restaurants were superb and got to see a little of Rotterdam in the process. I definitely recommend this tour, and next time, I will bring my husband!
