Bali Cycling is a lovely day out in the fresh air winding through the local village life with some spectacular views of rice terrace and temples. Bali Cycling is a comfortable downhill ride, watching the passing parade of rural life as we cycle , stopping along the way to chat with village woman and farmers amid their daily work routine and to laugh at the antics of the small children who smile and wave and call hello. Goa Gajah Temple is believed to date back to the 11th century when it was originally built as a place for spiritual meditation. Goa Gajah Temple name is slightly misleading, lending the impression that its a gigantic dwelling full of elephants. Nevertheless, Goa Gajah Elephant Cave is an archaeological site of significant historical value that makes it a special place to visit. Located on the cool western edge of Bedulu Village, six kilometers out of central Ubud, you do not need more than an hour to descend to its relic filled courtyard and view the rock-wall carvings, a central meditational cave, bathing pools and fountains.

Ubud Monkey Forest is inhabited by a band of grey haired and greedy long tailed Balinese macaques, officially called Mandala Wisata Wanara Wana. Ubud Monkey Forest occupies 27 lush, green acres at the lower end of Jalan Monkey Forest in the village of Padangtegal. Home to over 400 long tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis) which are divided into 4 groups that occupy different areas of the park, it is an important cultural and spiritual site that welcomes upwards of 10,000 visitors each month. The Monkey Forest Sanctuary is actually owned and operated by the village of Padangtegal, with village members serving on a governing council that seeks to uphold the integrity of the grounds while promoting it as a tourist destination.

The palace can also be regarded as the focal landmark of Ubud. The Ubud palace was built during the lordship of the late Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel (1800-1823) and is well kept by his successive heirs. A visit to the Puri Saren is on many of the itineraries to the Ubud area. It has well-preserved Balinese architecture and charming garden settings and is best known among lovers of Balinese arts as one of the main sites to view dramatic evening dance performances.

Tegenungan Waterfall is one of the famous places of interest in Bali, the beauty of the waterfall does not only become an attraction for domestic or foreign tourists, local people also often visit this waterfall. Its a part of the Petanu river flowing along the village of Kemenuh, it reaches to the height of up to 20m so you can feel the sound vibration of the falling water. The beauty of Tegenungan waterfall in between green rocky walls can be seen from the first stop point where you can find local stalls serving food and beverages.
