    Nice experience guide and mount batur help us when we climb at mount batur. We have breakfast before we climb at we have brakfast also on the top

    Tour operator never showed up, all his phone numbers and emails bounced back as not in service. We got up at 1:30am for this, waited around for 1.5hrs, never showed. After filing for a refund w La Vacanza Travel, we finally got a message from the operator that said “sorry, there was storm on mountain, I can take you tomorrow”. First, having the only communication come 10hrs late and only after a refund was initiated and La Vacanza Travel reached out is terrible service. Second, there was no “storm” on the mountain. Our room faced the mountain, weather was perfect. This is isn’t Everest where peak conditions are hard to assess from base. Our hotel and our driver both confirmed there was no storm and while checking out of our hotel that morning, a couple returned from….. their sunrise hike up the mountain. Our tour guide lied to try and keep his payment. Uneithical, and his reviews on TripAdvisor shows he’s done this many times. Avoid at all costs.
