In centuries past Zhujiajiao was a trading area: the many canals were used to ferry products along in little boats and barges. Small boats are ubiquitous there, functioning as a nice way to get a view of the town and experience local life. Your tour guide will help you explore three carefully-selected places along the waterway.
Kezhi Garden was a place to see and learn about plants. You can get some excellent pictures, for example of bright yellow rapeseed flowers, in Kezhi Garden. The area consists of a main hall, a garden, and an artificial hill. The outstanding feature of the garden is a five-story building with a pavilion on its roof — the tallest structure in old Zhujiajiao.
Qing Dynasty Post Office is a post office built in the Qing Dynasty (1644–1911), said to be the best preserved of its era in China.
Fangsheng Bridge is one of the main attractions among the 36 ancient stone bridges, some only one yard wide.

The tallest structure in all of China, the Shanghai Tower’s height tops off at a dizzying 632 meters above street level, and the Shanghai skyscraper’s floors number 128 stories in total. When the Shanghai skyscraper first opened its doors to the public, it also boasted the second-fastest vertical transport system in the world, with elevators reaching up to 74 km per hour!

This 1.5-kilometer-long embankment runs along the western bank of Huangpu River. On its west side it is the "architecture gallery" with 52 well-preserved old European style buildings. Once the major trading and commercial center of old Shanghai, the Bund has now taken on new vitality, with futuristic developments, chic restaurants, top end shops and bars offer plenty to see and do-and by night it's magic!
