Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning. Then, transfer to Former French Concession and start the highlight tour.
Known for its tree-lined boulevards, the former French Concession is a stylish neighborhood boasting a charming mix of Chinese and European architecture. Explore quiet alleyways on a leisurely stroll, and enjoy the area's shopping, dining, and entertainment.
You will stroll around Xintiandi and visit Shikumen Museum.

Xintiandi is a tourist attraction that preserves the historical and cultural features of Shanghai and integrates Chinese and western culture. Xintiandi is divided into northern and southern parts. The south is dominated by modern architecture. The north is dominated by Shikumen old buildings. Composed of Shikumen and modern architectural style, now it has become a hot and fashionable pedestrian street in the center of the city. The outdoor cafes, bars and romantic restaurants can be seen everywhere.

Then, we will visit Shikumen Museum and learn about the living space and lifestyle of Shanghai people in those days.

It is an old shikumen house built in the 1920s that has been preserved and renovated. The museum was built according to the model of one household in the 1920s. There are seven main exhibition rooms, namely, the guest room, the study room, the old people's room, the master room, the daughter room, the pavilion room and the oven room. The story of a shikumen family runs through the whole visit. It not only shows the unique shikumen architectural culture of Shanghai, but also reproduces the living space and lifestyle of Shanghai people in those days.

St. Ignatius Cathedral was built in 1896 during Qing Dynasty. As an international church in Shanghai, it used to be called 'The largest Cathedral in the far east', which is now referred to as 'the Cathedral on Sheshan'. The building is in a Gothic style. The top is 50 meters high and is quite unique among the skyscrapers of the city.

Then, you will visit the oldest temple in Shanghai - Longhua Temple.

Longhua Temple is the oldest temple in Shanghai for its long history of over 1,700 years. The visitor here having marveled at the city's modern architecture and historical sites. Besides its long history, Longhua Temple is the largest temple in Shanghai. It occupies an area of over 20,000 square meters (five acres) and the architectural proportion is about 5,000 square meters (1.2 acres). The whole courtyard was built strictly in the style of traditional Buddhist symmetry and it's in accordance with the Chinese concept of beauty.

At noon, you will enjoy vegetarian noodles for lunch at Longhua Temple.
In the afternoon, you will transfer to China Art Museum to enjoy the masterpieces of China's modern and contemporary artists.

The museum was transformed from the China Pavilion of the Expo 2010 Shanghai, an upside-down red pyramid. A visit is worth it just for the extravagant building and its vistas of the city. It is dedicated to demonstrate the masterpieces of a number of China's modern and contemporary artists. Works on display span modern and contemporary periods, and there are numerous temporary exhibitions, including touring shows from abroad.
The stunning highlight of the museum is the multimedia replica of the famous painting ‘Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival one thousand years ago, which vividly shows the life of all social sectors at that time.
You will continue to the site of the Shanghai Expo 2010, a park that offers a variety of exhibits about Chinese culture.

Then, you will transfer to the Bund and see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles.

The Bund is a famous waterfront on the west bank of Huangpu River and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. Here, the charm of Shanghai as a bustling metropolis combining the century-old history and flourishing future is fully presented, making the Bund Shanghai a must-see attraction. You will see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles at the Bund. Such as Peace Hotel, Shanghai Customs House and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. You will see Sculpture on the Bund, Monument to the People's Heroes, Huangpu Park and Waibaidu Bridge.

Then, we will transfer to Pudong New Area through the sightseeing tunnel.
Bund Sightseeing Tunnel, the first visitor tunnel under Huangpu River in China, connects the Bund and Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone. It just takes 3-5 minutes to travel through the tunnel, passengers can appreciate fascinating visual effects with a variety of sounds accompany them. Driverless carriages are used, and passengers have a wide vista from them. This enables the passengers to feel they are transported an “explorer”.

As a new and bustling district, Pudong offers visitors some of the most modern attractions, businesses, skyscrapers and shopping malls, all featuring the latest in entertainment, technology and fashion.
We will walk along Lujiazui Ring Bridge which is good place to photograph skyscrapers.



Stop At: Jin Mao Tower, No.88 Century Avenue, Pudong New Area, Shanghai 200121 China

Being the forth tallest building only to Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center and Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai, Jin Mao Tower is located in the center of Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone in Pudong. It is 420.5 meters (almost 1,380 feet) tall and covers an area of 2.3 hectares (5.68 acres). The architect, Adrian D. Smith, of this skyscraper ingeniously combined the elements of traditional Chinese culture with the newest architectural styles of the time, which makes it one of the best-constructed buildings in China.
The 88th floor-the highest floor, is reserved for the tower's observation deck, which can hold 1000 people at any one time. From there, visitors can get a sweeping view of the scenery on the banks of Huangpu River. If the weather is nice enough, you have a chance to see a spectacular sunset.

Afterwards, enjoy comfortable transfer back to your hotel. Wrap your memories and say good-bye in your hotel.
