Itinerary
Day 1: Singapore - UNESCO Malacca (Recommended hotel: Puri Hotel, Jonkers' Street)
Stop At: Melaka, Melaka, Central Melaka District, Melaka State
Malacca is a melting pot of history. There was Portuguese and Dutch influence until the British came and took over. Architectural relics of Portuguese and Dutch marvels are kept as UNESCO heritage sites.
Visit the Dutch square , St Paul's Hill and the A Famosa - the remaining gateway of the Portuguese Fort.
Jonkers Street is a bustling street of souvenirs and antiquities with 15th century Chinese and Indian Migrants having a swell time marrying into the locals. Trishaw ride to Jonkers. The Portuguese soldiers also married into the locals and a Portuguese settlement has been set up for them. Malacca is a concoction of cultures and traditions.

Day 2: Malacca - Kuala Lumpur (Recommended hotel: Traders Hotel)
Stop At: Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan
Kuala Lumpur is a potpouri of diverse cultures and traditions - Malays, Chinese and Indians living in harmony.
8am Visit the iconic Batu Caves and climb 272 steps in to the temple of Hindu Deity honored during Thaipusam every year. Devotees give thanks for vows fulfilled. Ladies to be properly attired to enter the temple. Then visit the heritage sites of Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the oldest Jamek Mosque and St Mary's Cathedral. Go for an educational tour of Pewter and Batik, then drive past the Old Railway Station and the National Mosque. Photo shoots of bustling Chinatown and colorful Little India. Drive past the tallest twin towers and the KL Tower for some candid photo shoots. Complimentary Banana Leaf lunch before drop off at hotel.

Day 3: Kuala Lumpur - Cameron Highlands (Recommended hotel: Cameron Highlands Resort
Stop At: Cameron Bharat Tea Estate, 4 Km South of Tanah Rata, Tanah Rata Malaysia
8am Depart for the Cameron Highlands- a hill resort with vast tea plantations and farmlands. Sip tea perched on an elevated tea cafe and watch the undulating tea hills roll by. Go down onto the tea plantation and have photo shoots. Then visit the Butterfly Farm and see live stick insects, snakes, spiders and rare butterflies dancing on scented flowers and ferns. The vegetable market boasts of fresh fruits, flowers and vegetables grown in the Camerons due to its conducive weather. Some farmers are into organic farming catering for the niche market.
Complimentary HOT POT dinner. Bring sweaters as the nights are cold. Traffic jams in Camerons is unavoidable.

Day 4: Cameron Highlands - Taman Negara (Recommended hotel: Mutiara Resort)

Taman Negara is a 130 million years old tropical rainforest - home to endangered animals as in Tigers, Elephants, Tapirs, Pythons, Deers... 14,000 flowering plants, 300 bird species.... Activities: Canopy Walkway (closed Fridays) Rapids shooting by skillful boatmen, visit to an aborigine village. Guide will talk about medicinal and poisonous plants, not forgetting aphrodisiacs. At aborigine village fire making and hunting tools demonstration. You can partake in the activities. The rainforest is their supermarket.
Waterfalls are natural wonders. Its trickles and ripples has a therapeutic calming and healing effect in lowering stress. A cool dip is complete in a nature tour. Check in . Free and easy.
7pm night jungle walk to look for mouse deer, spiders, scorpions, wild boar etc. foraging for food.
8pm Jump onto a 4WD and using spotlights look out for smaller animals foraging for food too. Experience a jungle experience of night ambience.

Day 5: Taman Negara - Cascading Waterfalls (Lata Berkoh)
Stop At: Taman Negara National Park, No.4 Bangunanan lknp Merapoh, Taman Negara, 27000 Malaysia
8am Depart for the Cascading Waterfalls - the jewel of Taman Negara. The boatman negotiates fallen tree trunks and hanging branches venturing deeper into virgin jungle. The ride meandering through the drooping canopy of trees is mesmerizing. Its nature at its best. See to believe. At the Cascades take a cool dip and enjoy the fresh mountain waters. Nature welcomes you for a good time. After much swimming and frolicking under the watchful eye of our Nature Guide (special member of the life savers corps in Taman Negara) the boatman glides downstream to the Kelah Fish Sanctuary - an endangered and protected fish species. Feed the fish. Return to hotel. Free and easy.
The next day we have a long drive to the Perhentian Islands.

Day 6: Taman Negara - Perhentian/Redang Island (KUala Besut Jetty)
Stop At: Perhentian Islands, Perhentian Islands, Terengganu
7am Depart for the Perhentian/Redang Islands - an approximate 5 hours drive time to reach the Kuala Besut Jetty. Our Guide will identify your boat to these islands and ensure all is well before departing. Please inform your hotels of these Islands that we should be arriving in Kuala Besut approximate 2 pm. Have a wonderful holiday always ! Good bye.
