What a great tour. I'd felt a bit reluctant to explore these areas because I wasn't sure what was okay, but Chey took all that reluctance away and opened my eyes to a part of the city I hadn't visited before. Our guide, Chey, was incredibly knowledgeable, not just with regard to the sectors we were visiting, but she had an holistic understanding of Singapore and it's peoples. Having had this introduction, I now know the why's and where to's of the three areas and feel confident to continue exploring on my own. Just as an aside, I expressed an interest in public art works, so Chey included a small detour to show some of the gems of the city, including several pieces by Salvador Dali, plus we got to walk through an art deco gem.

We had dinner at Chinatown . Enjoyed ! Went to the markets in Little India …interesting and worth the experience . Easy to get to these places on the train .

A very enjoyable tour. Chan was very enthusiastic and informative and a great host. Would thoroughly recommend. Chan took time out at the end of tour to organise a taxi for us back to our hotel. Very much appreciated.

We really enjoyed the tour with Chan, who experienced his country growing since the sixties. Very knowledgeable, he had answers to all questions you may want to ask. He showed us places we would not have noticed on regular 'highlights tour'. The tour operator provided a chilled botyle of water at the start of the tour. Tickets are provided for two short subway rides between different stops. Bathroom/drink breaks proposed by a guide through the tour. Bring good walking shoes, not flip-flops. My 14 year-old enjoyed it, but my 11 year-old was tired and overwhelmed at the end. Perhaps it is too much walking for very young children. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it.

Chan was very knowledgeable and educated us on the history of Singapore. He was very considerate of the pace of the tour as we had a very diverse group.
