On this tour you will have a private museum guide with you and comfortable transportation to the museum. You will be met in the hotel lobby and the tour will finish near the Faberge Museum. The tour includes complimentary city maps, chocolate, rain coats (in case of rain) and souvenir gifts. You will spend 1 hour inside the gorgeous Shuvalov palace to enjoy the fantastic collection.You will be escorted by your guide through the whole collection with comments and stories.

Only 50 imperial eggs were ever made, right here in St Petersburg, by jeweler to the tsars Carl Fabergé. Each was given as a lavish Easter gift by the last two tsars to their wives and mothers. Like every imperial egg, those in place here - whether gold or agate, enameled or jeweled - are exquisite. Beyond the imperial eggs, there are snuff boxes, figurines and fabulous objets d'art from the House of Fabergé and other noted Russian jewelers, plus a gallery of classical Russian paintings and a roomful of religious icons.

Shuvalov Palace is a masterpiece in itself; all parquet floors and richly upholstered walls that reflect the sheer opulence of Russia's imperial age. But lovely as the house and its exhibitions are, the imperial eggs - Fabergé's finest works - remain the star attraction. With their extravagance, delicate beauty and tragic, regal history, both they and Carl Fabergé's genius are truly legendary.

1 hour well spent at the Faberge museum. This new museum is in an old palace, home of a noble family and just walking through the building itself was remarkable. The guide we had was really good about showing us the biggest Faberge egg collection in the world as well as Faberge jewellry, porcelain etc....We really enjoyed this tour. If you have time, I recommend booking this tour.
