Our tour guide, Natalya, was the perfect guide to tour around St Petersburg for two days. We were super lucky to get her. Our tour was a small group of eight. That made our stops quick, efficient and intimate. I learned so much on the history of St Petersburg. Loved all the stops! High recommend!

Elena was an excellent guide. Booking through La Vacanza Travel was painless. Elena was knowledgeable in Russian history, art history and the Faberge museum. She also knew great restaurants to take us to.
Our driver, Andrew, was pleasant and knowledgeable also. Thank you for a wonderful two days in your country. We didn’t expect such warm weather!

My family and I which included three generations (two school age children, their parents, and me the grandmother) very much enjoyed our tour of St. Petersburg. Our guide, a lovely Russian woman, spoke excellent English and was knowledgeable about the sites we visited. She slipped us into very crowded sites (The Hermitage, Catherine's Palace, Peterhof gardens, the Church of the Spilled Blood) and saw to it that we toured these sites in comfort while she explained and pointed out all relative aspects of what we were viewing. The Faberge Museum was well worth the visit, not only to see the beautiful Easter eggs, but to also see a mansion of a privileged Russian aristocrat. I was worried about getting off our cruise ship in time for an independent tour, but this was not a problem. The ship was considerate about the starting time for our tour and it was very easy to go through Russian customs. Wear comfortable walking shoes as there is quite a bit of walking on the tour.

Enjoyed the 2 day tour with TJ Travels. We felt special as if we Were in our own private tour. Since there were 10 people in our group we had the van all to ourselves and our guide Tanya and driver Sergei were very good and took care of our group’s needs and any requests we had especially since we had several seniors in our group. Would highly recommend this tour and the guide Tanya.

Wonderful and the tour guide was exceptional. One day little rainy, but did not hamper the wonderful experience. Avoided the long lines which was a blessing. Made new friends

Admiralty Subway Station

Amazing, beautiful subway station that is about 27 floors below the city. Longest escalator ride I've ever seen.

Peterhof Palace, St. Petersburg

The grounds of this Royal Palace are extensive with hundreds of beautiful fountains throughout the parks and forested areas.
