Built in Great Britain in 1917, the icebreaker Krasin has had an eventful, but difficult career.

The Icebreaker "Krasin" is the only museum-icebreaker in Russia. It was built in 1916-1917 after the drawings of Vice Admiral S.O.Makarov in Great Britain. Originally the icebreaker was named by ancient epic hero "Svjatogor"

The city-fortress of Kronstadt is the first Russian naval base and the sea gateway to St. Petersburg. Every ship that goes in and out of St. Petersburg water area passes through the floodgates of Kronstadt Dam. Most of tourists coming by the sea see this island with warships at its berth, from the decks of their cruise ships. But very few have actually been inside this obscure, unnoticed by mass tourists, place.

Until 1996 this strategic military object was impossible to visit for overseas guests and many Russians! Nowadays, we offer you an exciting and comfortable ride to Kronstadt and a chance to get inside this historical seafort

During the tour to Kronstadt we’ll see many interesting places connected with history and with the present life of the Russian navy. Here you will find the Kronstadt sea gauge. This is a zero level measure for the Baltic system of altitudes. All depths and altitudes (even the altitude of spacecraft flights) in Russia and some nearby countries also measure them from the zero level of Kronstadt sea gauge.
The tour starts at your hotel in St. Petersburg. We'll visit The main attraction of Kronstadt is the Naval Сathedral. The magnificent Naval Cathedral leaves no one indifferent. It is a pearl of Kronstadt. The Naval Cathedral was built in 1903-1913 by V. Kosyakov. It was created to honor all Russian sailors. In 2013 the reconstruction of the Naval Cathedral was finished and now we can see it in its original form. During summer time and when the weather is good, it is also possible to visit one of the foretresses on small islands in the Gulf on Finland, not far from Kronstadt - Fort Kotlin, Fort Obruchev or Fort Totleben.
You may wish to extend your Kronstadt tour with an optional visit to Constantine Fort and driving past a former Royal Residence - Oranienbaum - a UNESCO site nowadays.

The Naval Cathedral is a Russian Orthodox cathedral built in 1903–1913 as the main church of the Russian Navy and dedicated to all fallen seamen.

This fort is one of the largest artillery forts of Kronstadtand was built in the 19th century. Two MG casemates were attached to the fort in the period 1934-1935 and the "10 guns at the left wing were replaced by four 45mm guns. These guns aided the Oranienbaum bridgehead during the Siege of Leningrad (1941-1944).
