Our Guide was fantastic and overall the company tailored the tour to our specific requirements. Nothing was too much trouble, I would highly recommend using them.

Very professional guide an driver of the private van. Friendly, knowledgeable, very good english. Prices on par with what cruise companies charge, but for completely private and thus more efficient tour. Also documents (blanket visa) was well arranged. Would definitely recommend this tour guide!

Our 8 hour tour with Olga was great. She is one of the best tour guides we have ever had. Extremely knowledgeable, personal, and flexible. Her tour of St. Petersburg of our family of six was a highlight of our cruise.

I originally booked this tour because it offered a one on one experience that would take us to the most amount of places. What we received was beyond any expectation that I had for this tour. Our guide, Kathryn met us at the port with a sign and guided us to our waiting driver and vehicle. They had bottled water for us, which was a great amenity. We started the day at the Church on Spilled Blood followed by Mikhailovsky Castle, the Winter Palace, Hermitage and then St. Icaak. There was not one moment where Kathryn wasn't talking about the history of each of these places. She was a walking historian and provided us with more information than I could have ever imagined! This made the day so much more than what I was expecting. We also asked to be taken for a local snack...the Russian pancakes and local cranberry drink were delicious! Before heading out to the Peterhof Palace we stopped at the perfect gift shop to pick up our girls some very nice local souvenirs at great prices! We also had some regional vodka, which was a cute touch at the gift shop since we LOVE vodka:) Once we got to the Peterhof we walked through the Palace and then went out to the gardens and fountains. I would love to go back during the month of late June and early July as I am sure the gardens would be in full bloom and be absolutely stunning. We have been on a lot of tours through our travels, but I can say without certainty, there couldn't have been anything done better on this tour! If you don't book this tour you would be missing out on so much! The owner, Misha, left us a gift in the car which was a great end to this tour! Thank you for a tour of a lifetime in our eyes!

La Vacanza Travel assigned our group of six to Horosho Tours who handled everything expertly from blanket visas to luxury transportation. Most important was our guide Katiana, she was fluent in English and exceedingly knowledgeable regarding her city and all it's attractions. And, she gave us a candid insight into what life in Russia was like over the past 40 years. The Hirosho team deserves all the accolades bestowed on them in reviews of them and the company. I am happy to add my full endorsement to this topshelf company. La Vacanza Travel made an excellent choice when they added Hirosho Tours to the list of tour companies with whom they contract for St. Petersburg tours.
