Day 1: Surabaya - Explore Cemara Lawang village
Stop At: Cemorolawang, Ngadisari, Kec. Sukapura, Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur, Indonesia
After you checked in at your hotel, your driver is ready to take you around Cemara Lawang Village. The village is located close to the Entrance of Bromo. Explore the Hindu Tengger area and culture; visit the local market, drink a cup of coffee in a local house, walk the fields, etc.

It's one of the good Spot to see the sunset. You will see the amazing View of Bromo crater and Sand sea from here.

Day 2: Bromo sunrise tour
Stop At: King Kong Hill, Cemorolawang, Ngadisari, Sukapura, Probolinggo Regency, East Java, Indonesia
You will start at 3:30 AM from the hotel and the Jeep will drive you around 45 minute to Kingkong View Point ( 2.600 Masl ) to see the sunrise. Make sure you wear jacket and long pants because it will be cold. Meanwhile waiting the sunrise to come, you can have some hot drink to warm up your body.

Stop At: Sand Sea, Indonesia
When the sun has risen, your Jeep-driver is ready.
You will drive down into the black volcanic Sea of Sand. If you wish to walk in this magnificent landscape, just ask the driver to stop. Otherwise he will bring you to the parking area from where your hike to mount Bromo starts.

Pass By: Luhur Poten Temple, Cemorolawang, Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Indonesia
Your Jeep will park near the Luhur Poten temple. This temple is still actively in use by the local Hindu community. Most often it is closed, but when it is open ask to take a look inside.
Stop At: Mount Bromo, Jl. Bromo Km. 3 Probolinggo City Town, Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Indonesia
Then it is a 45 minutes walk to the top of mount Bromo. Take your time in this inspiring grey-greyish landscape.
Bromo is an active volcano - not the highest peak - in the middle of Sand Sea, a protected nature reserve since 1919. Depending on the activity of volcano Bromo, the Indonesian Center of Volcanology issues warnings.

Once back at your Jeep, you will return to your hotel. You can have breakfast and a refreshing shower before checking out and heading to Bondowoso city.

The drive to Bondowoso takes about 5 to 6 hours. To stretch your legs Bukit Bintang Arak Arak is a good spot to stop. Small local restaurants offer you some tea, coffee and local food.

Day 3: Blue fire & Ijen crater lake experience
Stop At: Ijen Crater, Banyuwangi 68454 Indonesia
The dazzling blue fire phenomenon can only be seen at night. Therefore you will depart midnight. The drive to Paltuding from where your hike to the crater lake starts takes about 2 hours.
Ijen crater lake is one the biggest blue fire areas in the world. Don't mistake blue fire for lava, as blue fire is a chemical reaction between gasses released by the volcano and the air.
Once in Paltuding your local guide is waiting for you with gas masks.
Climbing down into the crater of active volcano Ijen with the most acidic lake in the world is dangerous. Keep in mind that this part of the tour is only for those in physical good condition. Also, this part of the tour will be at your own risk.
Then you will walk back to the caldera to see the sunrise and crater lake.Feel inspired by the green-blueish lake bordered by the brownish crater walls. Explore. Walk your day. Take your time.

Jagir waterfall lies on the route to Ketapang harbour. If you have time and energy you can visit this gem.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Ketapang Ferry, Bulusan, Kalipuro, Banyuwangi 68455 Indonesia
You will be dropped off in Ketapang harbour. Here you can take the ferry to Bali.
Returning to Surabaya is also possible for an additional fee of USD 25.
