Overview

Our day starts with a visit to an outstanding wildlife park so you can get up close, interact and learn about Australia’s amazing animals, birds and reptiles. Kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, emus, wombats, deadly snakes and cassowaries (also deadly!)

Further west into the mountains for your first short walk to see the amazing views of the Blue Mountains world heritage wilderness. Get that perfect Instagram photo, before heading to the small town of Katoomba, where you have free time to explore the diverse range of eating options to grab a delicious lunch (own expense)

After lunch we’ll take you on a long bushwalk away from the crowds on national park tracks that stimulate the senses. Get up close to waterfalls, breath in the fresh air, smell the Eucalyptus trees, see the parrots and even a lyrebird, the symbol of the NSW national parks.

Your day is complete with our final stop at the iconic Three Sisters and learn more about Australia’s Aboriginal culture.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, 217 - 229 Kildare Rd Doonside, Blacktown, New South Wales 2767 Australia

Featherdale provides a home to over 2,000 Australian native animals from more than 260 different species and is home to the world’s largest collection of Australian wildlife. Focusing solely on native animals, at Featherdale you will find the largest collection of koalas in New South Wales, 3 open space enclosures filled with kangaroos and wallabies, as well as well as encounters with many other iconic Australian animals, such as dingos, echidnas, wombats, bilbies, Tasmanian devils, reptiles and a stunning collection of birds from Australia and around the world.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Lincoln's Rock, 51 Little Switzerland Dr, Blue Mountains National Park, New South Wales 2782 Australia

This incredible lookout gives you your first all-encompassing views of Jamison Valley, which change colour throughout the day as the sun and clouds move overhead. The drawcard of Lincoln’s Rock is the impressive optical-illusion photo you can get as a memento, which makes it appear as though you’re sitting literally on the edge of a cliff. In truth you are, except that there’s a fairly safe ledge just below that would stop you from falling very far! However we do state that you take photos at your own risk

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: The Three Sisters, Echo Point road Echo Point, Katoomba, New South Wales 2780 Australia

The famous Three Sisters rock formation is one of the most iconic images in Australia. The views overlooking the Jamison Valley are incredible. As well as getting that classic photo, you'll hear the stories of the local Aboriginal legends.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Blue Mountains National Park, Blue Mountains National Park, Blue Mountains, New South Wales

The World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park covers over one million hectares of land to the west of Sydney and is an inspiring mix of rain-forest, canyons and tall forests. You'll see colorful birds, unique native animals and the greatest concentration of eucalyptus diversity on the continent. Medium fitness is required and make sure to bring a bottle of water for the walk.

My trip with Michael was great, the weather was beautiful, everyone on the bus got along well whether they were with friends or solo, I made some new friends while on the trip that I am still travelling with now! We seen lots of beautiful views, the main ones everyone wants to see and had a decent amount of time at each place. Went to an animal sanctuary which was so good! We stopped and had lunch, had a great time even on the bus, it was all very chilled and Michael was very informative and a nice guy! Would recommend this trip and company to anyone looking to do this trip, it’s all sorted for you and takes the stress away allowing you to enjoy it. Thanks again!

Trip and driver were very scenic although all the places of interest were not met false advertising on La Vacanza Travel .

Overall, it was a good trip. The guide explained different things as we drove along. I enjoyed the visit to the featherdale wildlife Park. It was nice to see animals that were unique to Australia. At the different stops in blue Mountain we were allowed time to explore on our own. Some people just chilled, and just kinda took in the view, and some people went on some long walks We had a really nice sandwich and a piece of fruit for our lunch I booked on Booking.com and it said the we had option to buy cable car ride and scenic world. They said that they can’t do that all in one day so it was an offer. I was a little disappointed I couldn’t take the cable car up, but other than that it was a good day

This experience is a get what you pay for type thing! Great to have 3 stops of the blue mountains and in the main town but there wasn’t lots of detail from the tour guide about each place. The lunch options were 3 meat sandwiches or salad or veggies with a biscuit and a pear. Very basic but a good way to see the main sites!

Amazing trip! The wildlife reserve was really cool, being able to interact with/feed the Wallabys, and see a lot of native Australian animals up close. Actually was a cooler experience than the zoo. Forecast was rain/clouds, but we got lucky and got partial clouds and lots of sun instead. Ronnie was a great funny and knowledgeable tour guide. Scenic world isn't a part of the tour, but I never wanted it to be. A gorgeous hike is better than a crowded gondola.
