This is a unique chance to explore the Northern Beaches with a local guide who wants to show you his backyard and also learn about Australia's rich indigenous culture. It's not every day that you can learn to surf with a top-quality surf coach and then learn about the oldest living indigenous culture in the world afterward.

What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

The Northern Beaches day trip is the ultimate day to see the Northern side of the bridge in Sydney. You will be picked up from your hotel and taken across to the beautiful Northern Beaches for a Surf lesson at one of the stunning beaches. All equipment will be provided and you will have experienced Level 2 coaches with years of experience teaching you the basics or improving your existing technique if you have done a bit of surfing before.

From there we will take you over to meet our friends and indigenous guides who will take you on a guided walk around the Narrabeen lagoon. This walk will cover all the native flora and fauna of the area and you will learn so much about the nutrient-rich properties of Australia's bush food. You will also learn about the indigenous culture and their own relationship with the area in which we walk.

From there we will take you to an epic lunch spot overlooking the water with great food and drink options. Afterward, we will have a look around the famous suburb of palm beach and hike the hill up toward the Barrenjoey lighthouse.
