Great day out. Reptile Park, dolphin watching, 4WD and sandboarding were all excellent. Long day with a lot of driving, but if you know that beforehand, you'll be fine. Highly recommended :)

What a fantastic day, with a great guide. He made it so much fun. I loved it. Especially the dolphin tour. We were lucky enough to see a Southern Right whale which was just stunning.

This tour was very fun and you definitely get your money's worth. The park you go to is the Featherdale Wildlife Park. Included in this tour is a koala encounter, where you can pet and take photos with koalas in small groups. Here you can also feed and pet kangaroos, but watch out for the ostriches, they'll try to steal the food from you! The group is pretty large, so try to get to the koalas first, or you'll end up waiting in line for a long time, and then the kangaroos will be full and less interested when you feed them. The sandboarding was really fun as well. It is like sledding in the sand, and you have beautiful views of the coast and the dunes. Do expect to be with a large group for the day, and combine with other tours for the sand dunes. The crowds won't stop you from having a great experience though. Another tip: make sure to get a spot at the front of the boat for dolphin watching. This is where most of the dolphins will come up close to the boat, but it will get crowded once the dolphins appear, so go there as soon as you're on board to get the best view.

Great tour, got more than what we expected. The dolphin cruise was amazing, gotta see a few of them while on cruise. We also enjoyed the thrilling sand-boarding experience! Btw, the fish and chips @ Port Stephens is also very good! Lively and interesting commentary from our experienced coach driver, John.

You walk up and slide down. Fun for beginners. No pressure to participate if you don't want to. There will be sand everywhere... for weeks.

The coach was extremely comfortable.

Sand surfing

We all slide down a 50 to 60 feet from a sand top. The most thrilling experience of the trip.

Beautiful sand dunes

Highlight of my day! It was really fun to do this, sand was soft - be sure and bring your water bottle!

Image

Dolphin watch

I did bring my swimsuit, but it was FREEZING! These people braved the cold, and looked like they were having fun. It was way too cold for me, and they were in the shade. Not a lot of people went down the slide because it was too cold. This was done at the end.

Image

Dolphin Watch

No dolphins to be seen, except for one, so it was kind of boring.

I love Koalas, and petting them or holding them is always very special.
