Taste a selection of some of the most prestigious and rare wines from the Old Vine Expressions collection during a hosted tasting. You'll be delighted with wines harvested from 50 to 100 year old vineyards, including two iconic wines from the highly regarded Everest collection.

What Can You Expect?

Enjoy a curated privately hosted tasting of six wines from Château Tanunda in the ambient setting of our Sydney Cellar Door in the Rocks.

1) BAROSSA WINE TASTING: $30 per person (30mins)

Enjoy a tasting of six wines from the Château Tanunda Grand Barossa, The Château Single Vineyard and 'Terroirs of the Barossa wines in the ambient setting of our Sydney Cellar Door in the Rocks.

2) OLD VINE EXPRESSIONS TASTING: $50 per person (45mins)

Savour an opportunity to experience six iconic wines during a hosted tasting. Experience the highly collectable Old Vine Expressions wines from 50, 100 and 150-year-old vineyards and two rare wines from the world-renowned Everest wines.

    Justin, James and Jack are great hosts. Even though they had a full house, they made us feel most welcome and presented the wines in a very informative and friendly manner. Excellent venue for those with an hour to spare. Located in a quiet nook on Nurses Walk, The Rocks, so very easy to miss. I’ve been to the area many times, and never knew it was there. I only found it online when looking for venues to visit. The above Wine Tasting experience is their top shelf offering at $140pp. As a Halliday Wine Companion member we used a code to get half price. Nice!!

    This was amazing. We wanted to go on a wine tour, but we did not have enough time (most are all day long). After doing a web search I found the only wine tasting in “the Rocks area”. It was amazing. Old vines and fine wine. It is a great experience!

    Justin is a lovely host and is passionate about the wines he represents. He knows the details of every wine he serves and enjoys telling stories about the vines, the vintages, and the people who make the wines. When he found out that I would be staying in the Barossa Valley the following week, he gave me a lovely note to pass on to the cellar door staff to give me an upgraded tasting. The tasting room is relatively small, but totally worth a visit.

    We had a great wine tasting experience, Justin was very knowledgeable about the wines along with some funny stories, we even returned later for a glass of wine.
